Where do you mail the maps from?
We mail from Iowa in the United States.

How long will it take for my maps to arrive?
I mail all orders the same day I get them as long as the order is received by 3 pm central time, Monday thru Friday.
I use First Class mail with the U.S. post Office, for U.S. addresses the mail time is normally about 1 week.  Orders outside of the U.S. can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks to arrive.
I do offer faster shipping, U.S. Flat Rate Priority Mail is 2-3 day delivery in the U.S. $4.95,
6-10 days to Canada  $11.00 (note: this is estimated delivery time by the U.S. post office, not guaranteed)
First Class mail and Priority mail do not have tracking numbers.

New   I am now offering Express mail with the U.S. post office. This is overnight delivery to most addesses in the U.S., (the post office does not guarantee overnight to all addresses). The cost is $18.00 . Please let me know in the comments section of your order what day you need your maps so that I can advise on shipping.
Outside of the U.S., please contact Laura for a price.

What if the maps do not arrive in time for my trip?
Sometimes maps do get lost in the mail system.
Let us know if you think your maps should have arrived and they have not. I have no way of knowing they didn't arrive unless you tell me. If there is time, I will happily re-mail your maps to you.
Please double check your shipping information, many times maps do not arrive and it's because we have been given the incorrect mailing address. Be sure to include Apt. numbers and complete addresses.

Can I get a discount for multiple maps?
Yes, see the Bulk Orders link on the left.

The last time I ordered maps from you, I didn't pay until I received the maps, what happened?
Sadly, after selling maps on the honor system for over 10 years, we had too many customers not sending in their payments. If you are not comfortable paying online see the Honor System link on the left.

Can you help me decide which map(s) I should order?
I'd be happy to, use Live Help on the home page tell me what hotel you are staying at and roughly what you plan to do during your stay, and I will suggest what map(s) would be right for your trip.

Why do I need these maps, when I can just look at a Google map online?
Good question, an online map might show you the location of a hotel or restaurant, but it will not give you everything you need for your vacation. Our maps are actually "Guide maps" they are complete guidebooks in a map. You'll receive our personal favorite restaurant reviews, tour information, how to navigate the airport, how to ride the bus, taxi rates, ferry schedules and anything else you may need to know. On top of all of that, our maps share our 20 years of experience traveling the Yucatan Peninsula.

Why aren't your maps available as a digital download?
We tried this once with our Isla Mujeres map and found that most of our customers preferred we print the maps. Our maps measure 27 x 39, that's alot of 8-1/2 x 11 sheets of paper, (front and back of the map) to print out and tape together. It was actually a mess and very difficult to use.
If our maps were just maps, this may not be a problem, but our maps are travelguides in map form, so there is much more information than an average map.

What if these maps aren't what I expected, can I return them?
Of course, return your unused maps to us and we will refund you for the maps, unfortunately, we cannot refund the shipping.
